- 16 oz egg noodles wide or medium
Sauce
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- To taste salt
- To taste pepper
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp cold water
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef tips and sear on all sides until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
Place the seared beef tips into the crockpot. Add chopped onion, beef broth, onion soup mix, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours. Check the beef for tenderness.
Stir in the egg noodles. Mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry. Pour the cornstarch slurry into the crockpot and stir well.
Cover and cook on high for another 30 minutes, or until the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened.
