  • 32 ounces Tater Tots (one bag)
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken diced
  • 10.75 ounces Cream of Chicken Soup (one can)
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar, Colby Jack, or your favorite)
  • 1/2 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Vegetables: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sautéed onion and garlic, mixed vegetables, and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Assemble the Casserole: Pour the chicken mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
  • Add Tater Tots and Cheese: Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the tater tots.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Cool and Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. This allows it to set slightly.
